I have so many memories (some good and some bad:)) of playing UNO with your family. :) The bad ones only being that I was losing!:) I love you all so much!
Your daughters shawl is lovely! Is the pattern simple? We are simple knitters around here! Could you post the link to the pattern, if it is not too much trouble?
Mrs. Rabe, Isn't the shawl just gorgeous? Livi crocheted it as a gift for a far away friend out of Homespun yarn--color, 'Ocean'. Other dear friends--the Bankester girls have made us beautiful(!) shawls and their mama taught Livi in person how to make one. I'm not even sure where to get the pattern. Auntie D. or Emmy-girl, are you reading this? Do you know?
I read your comments about the shawl pattern, but I don't know how to write it out. :) I do believe that Alysha wrote down the pattern for Livi, though I'm not quite sure. I'll ask her or Mom when I get the chance.
Thanks, sweet Emily. Olivia tells me that we do have the pattern--and went and found it for me. It's called 'crochet corner-to-corner throw'. It's an intermediate pattern, number LW1595, and was designed by Catherine Watson. The one that Auntie Dorene gave to Livi is printed on the back of a Red Heart super saver yarn paper. Hope this helps, Mrs. Rabe. Thank you for answering, Emmy. Love to ya.

Emily--
Aren't the shoes adorable? They were a Christmas gift from her big sister.
