Hey, faithful checkers of this very neglected blog! Thanks for the comments. :) It's a 5 lb. carp.:) The three kiddos headed to a local lake as the sun went down on Monday evening. Will caught lots of bullheads, and Ben has a 'the one that got away' story--a huge carp that snapped his line. Then at the last, Livi brought in this guy. It turned out to be barn kitty food this time. :) We do eat fish fresh and frozen both, mostly sunfish or walleye. The season for those begins in a few days... And yes, Emily (hi, Sweetie), Livi's teeth are moving amazingly fast. She has oral surgery next week. I do hope that goes smoothly for her.

What kind of fish is it? Do you freeze the fish or eat them fresh?
