A few pictures from today...

Olivia, reading her history book in the sunpatch.

The pressure cooker, hard at work turning farm meat into our noon meal.

Ben, doing copywork from a Navajo Code Talkers article. Those Explore magazines were great while they lasted.

A colorful footstool cover project that Katie started for us.

The latest installation of fairy lights. If there are rules of moderation regarding twinkling, glowy decorative touches, I'm sure I am in violation.

Melissa,

So great to hear from you again!

I had to laugh when you said you are in violation for usage of the twinkling lights!

I use them over my kitchen cabinets and my girls all have made canopies over their beds and have strung them with the lights as well!

We love the cozy feel in the evenings...lots of ambient lighting!

I am in love with your twinkling rooster lights...

If there is a rule that is against your beautiful lights, then whoever made it does not know what beauty actually looks like. :)
