I just love the definition of your family word, foogie! I am so glad you found such a lovely recliner and for $10. That is quite the bargain. I know you and your family will enjoy reading many good books in that chair and snuggling with Greta Rose! Love, Paula
You make me smile. We do rather embody the whole foogie concept, do we not? Do you know that Foogie House has been our family name for your house since the day we moved into it in 1997? The word originated with Will, who as a toddler called his favorite (and very worn and broken) little plastic horse, 'Foogie Horse'...
I guess it's your destiny to carry on the tradition.:-)
Love the pictures of Foogie House decorated for Christmas on your blog. So lovely. And not overly 'foogie' at all, come to think of it!
How kind of you to ask about Maple. She is still with us, but not really her old self, yet. She's slower than she was, and limpy. It's sad to see her changed, but she's eating well, and venturing out around the farm on her own, so we hope to see her continue to improve. We try to encourage her doggie convalescence with good food and lots of tlc!
I'm sure careful of that blindspot when I back the van out the driveway. :-(
Your are so very welcome! Thank you for your kind reply! I am so sorry to hear Maple is not herself. I will keep her in my prayers! I am delighted she is eating well and venturing out on the farm. I am sure she will be back to her old self very soon and will continue to improve! It is so cold where you are, I am thinking when the weather warms up in the spring it will make her feel a bit more active and not as limpy. I know you are taking the best of care of her and she is a happy and well loved doggie indeed!!!
I am so sorry about the blindspot, I know you are extra careful and that this has been extremely difficult for you. I am praying for you too! Have a blessed weekend!

P.S. How is sweet Maple doing?
I am new to your blog and just wanted to say how lovely it is. I really enjoy a "visit" now and then.
My whole life is foogee!
